The Senator representing Kaduna Central in the National Assembly, Shehu Sani has insisted that he remains a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Sani, speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, made it clear that he joined the party voluntarily and will leave out of his volition.
“I went into the APC voluntarily and if im quiting, I will do out of my volition,” the lawmaker said.
Sani also spoke about a plot to impeach Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
DAILY POST reported that some PDP members of the House of Representatives, raised an alarm over an alleged plot to impeach Saraki.
“As it stands, the numbers to remove the senate president are not there.
“It is dangerous to circumvent the law to remove the leadership of the National Assembly,” Sani added.
