Saraki
The quest of Senator Bukola Saraki to succeed Senator David Mark as the Senate President of the 8th National Assembly has received a a major boost, with the resolution of Senators-elect from Sokoto, Zamfara and Kebbi States to vote for him.
The Senators-elect arrived at the decision over the weekend.
With this, Saraki’s chances seem brighter, as he now has supporters from all the geo-political zones with more than 70 of the 109 senator that are to vote behind him.
According to reports, the Senators-elect decided to back Saraki at a meeting in Sokoto with new and returning senators in attendance.
