Senate leader, Ali Ndume stressed that mob action was taking a dangerous dimension, in that even the high class citizens cannot move about now for fear of mob action.
He added that there were cases where government or politicians were mob on praying grounds.
Shehu Sani (APC) Kaduna Central blamed politicians for using and abandoning some people after winning elections.
He said such would spur frustrations that made them looking for slightest opportunity to mob or doing anything funny in order to ventilate their grievances.
Senator Mao Ohabunwa in his contribution, blamed Buhari-led government for creating hunger in the land, noting that if nothing was done to ameliorate conditions of Nigerians, there would continue to be mob action.
Senate President , Bukola Saraki urged Security agents to be strict in the discharge of their responsibilities, no matter the situation of things.
“As Senate, we condemn mob action under any circumstances and I want to urge the police and other security agents to brace up to their duties,”he maintained.
