Reports reaching DAILY POST have it that several persons were, Wednesday, burnt to death as a tanker carrying fuel fell and exploded after spilling its contents in Edo State.
No fewer than 5 houses and shops were completely razed by the inferno which occurred at Upper Mission junction along the Benin-Auchi express road in the state at about 8:00am.
As at press time, the number of casualties could not be ascertained but residents in nearby buildings who were not or partly affected were vacating their shops and homes with their property.
