SARS: Senator Goje reacts to campaign against squad

Former Governor of Gombe State and Senator representing Gombe Central, Senator Danjuma Goje, has reacted to the call for disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad.
The Inspector General of Police, (IGP) Idris Kpotun Ibrahim, on Monday in a statement directed the immediate restructuring of SARS across the country
This followed series of complaints shared online by Nigerian youths on the alleged harassment and assaults by SARS operatives.
Senator Goje in support of the movement said operatives of SARS make him lose hope in the society.
He,however, urged Nigerians to stay strong through challenges.
In his tweets he wrote “I stand and support Nigerians in the call for #EndSARS.
“Going through some Tweets with the hashtag, they are kind of people that make me lose Hope in Society bit more.
“Anything that has a beginning must have an end. Stay strong.”
