SARS officer who alleged battered ex-soldier for sleeping with his wife arrested in Benin

An operative of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, identified as Nagbama Osakpamwan Eboigbe a.k.a Smally who reportedly sent “thugs” to beat one Ese Idehen for allegedly sleeping with his wife, has been arrested by the Edo State Police Command.
Eboigbe had reportedly thrown Idehen, an ex-soldier into the boot of a car after rough-handling him with his thugs.
Lawyer to the victim, Jefferson Uwoghiren, said the officer has been arrested following a petition filed by him at the Benin police headquarters for brazen abuse of power, criminal abduction, assault and battery.
The lawyer also said that other officers who assisted the suspect to attack and imprison his client are in big trouble.
