Sarri angry with Chelsea for delaying Juventus move

Maurizio Sarri is not happy with Chelsea for delaying his move to Juventus, according to Empoli president, Fabrizio Corsi.

Sarri worked under Corsi for three years before leaving to Napoli.

After 11 turbulent months at Stamford Bridge, the 60-year-old informed Chelsea of his desire to return to Italy earlier this month and replace Max Allegri who stepped down at the end of last season.

Sarri had hoped for a swift resolution but Chelsea and their chief transfer negotiator, Marina Granovskaia, are digging their heels in until they are suitably compensated.

“Sarri is having problems getting away from Chelsea.

“He’s grumbling now and is a bit pessimistic, we heard from him this morning, but Juve told me on Saturday that they trust it’ll be done soon.

“That was Saturday, now it’s Wednesday. I hope for everyone’s sake this gets resolved,” Corsi told Telelombardia.
