The Senate President, Bukola Saraki has reacted to the death of the mother of the lawmaker representing Kogi West senatorial district, Senator Dino Melaye.
DAILY POST had reported that Comfort Melaye, the mother of Senator Dino, died on Thursday.
The lawmaker announced the death of his mother via his Twitter handle on Thursday night.
Melaye did not, however, give details of the death.
Reacting, Saraki, in a tweet on Friday, commiserated with Dino Melaye and members of his family.
He wrote, ”My heartfelt prayers and sincere condolences go out to Senator Dino Melaye and his entire family over the passing of their beloved mother, Deaconess Comfort Melaye.
”I pray that the Almighty grants her eternal rest and gives the family the fortitude to bear this significant loss.”
