Nigerians have taken to the social media to react to the Code of Conduct Tribunal’s dismissal of the charges of false assets declaration against Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
In his ruling, Chairman of the tribunal, Danladi Umar, declared that the prosecution team had failed to provide sufficient evidence to prove that Saraki was indeed guilty of false asset declaration.
Following the ruling, Nigerians took to their twitter handle to share their thoughts concerning the issue.
As expected, many believe the President Muhammadu Buhari publicized fight against corruption is a futile effort, while others are of the opinion that the Senate President was never guilty in the first place.
