The crises currently rocking the All Progressives Congress, APC, may be far from over as a meeting scheduled to hold between Senate President, Bukola Saraki and the national chairman of the party alongside members of the National Working Committee, NWC, was called off abruptly.
Media aide to Senator Saraki, Bamikole Omishore, had sent out a message at 12:25pm on Thursday, which reads: “His Excellency, Distinguished Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, will be at APC party secretariat at 12:45 to meet chairman and NWC. Press, please take note.” But a few minutes later, he sent a terse message which reads: “Apologies, meeting has been cancelled.”
The media aide failed to state any reason for the cancellation of the meeting and did not give any rescheduled date for the aborted parley.
