Saraki, Adewole, Ngige in meeting over JOHESU strike

The Senate President, Bukola Saraki and the Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole are presently meeting with the leadership of Joint Health Sector Unions, JOHESU.

The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Primary Healthcare, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa, and the Minister of Labour, Sen. Chris Ngige are also present at the meeting.

The meeting is holding at the office of the Senate President.

It would be recalled that JOHESU embarked on an indefinite strike on May 9th, 2018 which has since paralysed activities in all health institutions across the country.

Meanwhile, the rift between members of the Joint Health Sector Union (JOHESU) and the Minister of Health, Professor Isaac Adewale took another dimension as the Union has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to immediately sack the Minister.
