Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand, has been handed a recall to the England national team, after Roy Hodgson revealed his squad that will play the World Cup double header against San Marino and Montenegero.
The 34-year-old has not featured for the English senior side, since June 2011 under former manager Fabio Capello.
Hodgson also recalled Tottenham Hotspur’s Michael Dawson and West Bromich Albion goalkeeper, Ben Foster.
