Rooney confident about joining Chelsea this summer

According to reports, Wayne Rooney has told his Manchester United team mates, that he will be moving to Chelsea this summer.

The Blues have already had two offers for the England international turned down, but a source close to United has told ESPN that the 27-year-old is convinced that he will end up at Stamford Bridge.

Some members of the United squad are said to be unhappy with the striker, who has so far ignored their pleas to extend his nine-year stay at Old Trafford and this development has caused a strain in their relationship with him.

United have so far insisted that Rooney is not for sale, but Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has made it clear that he is willing to wait for the former Everton man till the last day of the transfer season.
