Angel Di Maria has said that Cristiano Ronaldo might not return to Manchester United.
The Portugal superstar left Old Trafford in 2009 in a world-record transfer for Real Madrid and has enjoyed a hugely successful stint at the club.
Last week, former United assistant manager Mike Phelan, claimed that Ronaldo would be interested in returning to the Premier League club. But Di Maria has said it will be hard for him to quit the Santiago Bernabeu.
“I don’t think he is coming back to Manchester,” the winger told Radio America of his former team-mate. “It’s hard to quit Real Madrid.
“Maybe, but I think he’s having a great time and I don’t see that he wants to change.”
