Ronaldo vows to see out Real Madrid contract

Real Madrid forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, has said that he wants to see out the final two years of his current contract at the club, before he makes a decision on his future.

The Portuguese has been constantly linked with a return to Manchester United and moves to Paris Saint-Germain and the MLS.

Speaking at Marca awards ceremony on Monday, the 31-year-old insisted he will finish his contract with Madrid and possibly win another Champions League medal, before he moves on.

“I want to stay here for two more years, and then we’ll see about the future. That’s the contract that I’ve got,” he said.

“Now what I have to do is try to win trophies and the Champions League once again.

“I’ve spent seven years in Spain and for me La Liga is the best in the world.

“I also spent six years in England, in Manchester, and this league is wonderful, very competitive, with great players and, for me, it’s a privilege to be here and to leave my mark, which has been very good.”
