Cristiano Ronaldo scored all three goals, as Real Madrid beat Celta Vigo to maintain their top spot in the La Liga.
The Portugal international has now take his total to 200 goals in the Spanish top flight and also became the player with the most hat-tricks in the history of the league.
Ronaldo opened scoring in the first half via a penalty, before he added two more in the second strikes in his 178th league match.
The 29-year-old has now scored 23 times in 13 Liga games this season and was given a resounding round of applause when he was substituted.
