Brazil legend, Pele, says Real Madrid superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, is only better than Barcelona’s Neymar in his ability to head the ball.
He said the only aspect of the Barcelona star’s game that is not superior to that of Ronaldo, is his ability in the air.
Pele, whose father Dondinho once scored five headed goals in a match in Brazil, is seen by many as one of the greatest headers of the ball in the game’s history.
He has always shown more interest on the skill when analysing other great players of the game.
Though Neymar is known for his dribbling skill and eye for goal, he is not much of an aerial threat.
And Pele, a three-time World Cup winner, told UOL Brasil that it’s the only skill in which Ronaldo is superior to Brazil’s number 10.
“The only problem that Neymar has is the header. Cristiano Ronaldo is not better than him.
“Technically, Neymar is way better, but he [Ronaldo] is better when using the head. You don’t see Neymar scoring with the head, and that counts [in Ronaldo’s favor]”, he said.
