Former Galactico attacking midfielder, Kaka, is set to face his old club in Chicago on Wednesday, as Real Madrid face the MLS All-Stars at Soldier Field.
The 35-year-old spoke about the situations surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar ahead of the match.
Both players have dominated the football headlines across the summer.
“Well it’s speculation with Cristiano and Neymar, all I can say is that hopefully they make the best decisions and can be happy anywhere,” he said during a pre-match press conference.
“It’s special, it’s the first time I’m going to face Madrid and it’s very nice,” the Orlando City player continued.
“I had the opportunity to be with the Madrid players and I have a lot of friends at the club.
“It’s been a very special day and it will be on Wednesday also as I can share the field with them.”
The former Ballon d’Or winner lauded the recent achievements of his former club in La Liga and is impressed by Zinedine Zidane’s instant success with the club.
“Real Madrid has had a great season, winning La Liga and the Champions League,” Kaka said.
“It’s amazing for [Zidane’s] second year as coach of Madrid.
“I just have to congratulate them for the work which they have done so far,” he concluded
