Cristiano Ronaldo’s successful penalty against Juventus in the Champions League on Wednesday, has seen him go level with Raul as Real Madrid’s second all-time top scorer.
The Portuguese forward now has 307 goals in 298 games and the 30-year-old is now closing in on Raul’s record of 323 goals in 741 games.
However, official Real Madrid records insist Alfredo Di Stefano who died last year at 88 years, scored 308 goals and not 307.
Ronaldo will have a chance to draw nearer to the record in their final two La Liga games.
REAL MADRID TOP SCORERS 1. Raul – 323 2. Cristiano Ronaldo – 307 3. Alfredo Di Stefano – 307 4. Santillana – 290 5. Ferenc Puskas – 242
