Cristiano Ronaldo has broken Alfredo Di Stefano’s scoring record in the Madrid Derby and is now the all-time top goal scorer.
The Portugal forward netted a hat-trick, as Real defeated Atletico 3-0 at the Vicente Calderon.
His three goals put his total tally at 18, one more than Di Stefano managed during his time at the club. Raul Gonazalez is in third place with 15.
Atletico’s top scorer in Madrid Derbies is Paco Campos with 12.
Ronaldo, who recently pen a new contract extension with the Spanish giants, has now scored seven goals at the Calderon, two less than former Brazil international striker, Ronaldo.
The 31-year-old has now scored eight goals and provided two assists in nine La Liga appearances this season.
Zinedine Zidane’s side are four points clear of Barcelona at the top of La Liga after 12 games.
