Cristiano Ronaldo scored as Real Madrid defeated Eibar 2-0, to climb into the top three all-time top scorers in the Spanish Primera Division.
The former Manchester United forward wasted a couple of chances, but did not fail to convert from the spot, to end a run of more than five hours without a league goal.
Ronaldo has now scored 234 times in La Liga and he is level with former Madrid favourite, Hugo Sanchez.
In second place is Zarra with 251 goals, while his rival Lionel Messi, leads the standings with 290 goals.
