New coach of Nigeria, Gernot Rohr, will earn $47,000 a month.
The amount which is in the range of N18million, trumps the N5million former Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, took home every month.
Rohr has signed a two-year contract with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and his wages will be reportedly paid by an undisclosed oil company.
The German will be working with three assistants who he handpicked and they will act as his adviser, video specialist and fitness trainer. Rohr is expected to be responsible for their salaries.
His first official assignment, will be next month’s AFCON 2017 qualifier against Tanzania in Uyo.
