Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, has left out captain John Mikel Obi, from his squad for the upcoming 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header against Libya this month.

Rohr has invited in-form Ahmed Musa and 23 other players for the two matches.

Alex Iwobi also makes a return, along with William Troost-Ekong and Ola Aina. All three missed the 3-0 win over Seychelles in Mahe last month due to injury.
