Robbers raid Ogun community, kill school teacher

Daredevil gunmen suspected to be bandits on Wednesday went berserk in lwesi, ljebu East Local Government Area of Ogun state, killing a school teacher and inflicting injuries on others.

The victim, identified as Mr Sikiru Odufowokan, was shot dead when the robbers noticed that he was watching their operation through his window.

According to sources, the heavily armed men disguised themselves as commercial motorcyclists otherwise known as okada to unleash terror on the town.

An eyewitness, simply identified as Emmanuel, told newsmen the teacher was shot in the chest after the gang forcefully broke into his apartment.

The ljebu Area Police Commander, Alhaji Usman Alabi confirmed the incident but said that no arrest had been made in connection with the crime yet.
