Rivers PDP Chairman gets appointment from Wike

The Rivers State government has announced Felix Amaechi Obuah as the Sole Administrator of the Rivers State Waste Management Authority.

The announcement said the appointment takes immediate effect.

The announcement, which is contained in a statement issued by Opunabo Inko-Tariah on behalf of the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike also gave the new Sole Administrator seventy two hours to clear all the waste in Rivers State capital, Port Harcourt.

The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike had at a meeting with contractors in charge of clearing refuse, asked them to return to work.

Wike at the meeting also promised to pay the contractors the backlog of allowances owed them by the Amaechi government.
