he Rivers State Judiciary has released official statement on the attacks that rocked the Port Harcourt, Degema, Isiokpo, Omoku and Ahoada High courts earlier this week.

Chief Registrar of the Rivers state High court, Leornard Adoki in a statement made available to newsmen said the Degema High Court was completely razed down with all the documents.

The statement said that three dynamites thrown into the old High court in Port Harcourt exploded and damaged parts of the Old Magistrate Court building, and the NBA bus parked near the new Magistrates’ court building while the third one was detonated by the police bomb squad.

The inventory further revealed that while the Isiokpo and Omoku High Courts were torched by fire, dynamite destroyed the fence of the court in Ahoada and vandalized the generator.

Adoki confirmed that all the attacks were coordinated and happened between 3am and 4am the same morning of January 2, 2015.
