Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), John Odigie-Oyegun, says House of Representatives has been very supportive of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
He spoke on Thursday at a meeting between the National Working Committee (NWC) members and the APC caucus in the House.
Odigie-Oyegun said that the House under the leadership of Yakubu Dogara as speaker deserved to be appreciated.
He disclosed that the meeting also discussed the level of consideration of the 2017 Appropriations Bill before the National Assembly.
“As you can see, we are all smiling; we discussed general issues, the budget and the progress it is making.
“The fact that the House has been very supportive of the government and the party, we congratulate the speaker and members,” he said.
Party supremacy and the loan request from Buhari still before the National Assembly were also discussed at the meeting.
