Remi Lagos to be cremated in London

The late Remi Osholake, more popular as Remi Lagos, will not be buried in Nigeria, her funeral arrangements have shown. Instead, the 51-year-old fashion designer, will be cremated at the Golders Green Crematorium in London this Friday.

Yesterday, there was a lying-in-state and viewing at the JH Kenyon funeral home.

Popular names like Amy Winehouse, Enid Blyton and Sigmund Freud, have had their corpses cremated, retained or scattered at the Golders Green Crematorium before now.

There willo be a reception and tribute in Lagos, on December 6, 2012 at Landmark Event Centre, Plot 3 and 4, Water Coporation road, Oniru off Ligali Ayorinde, in Victoria Island.

Remi Lagos died in London last week, after a long battle with cancer.
