Days after the Wife of the President, Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, called for a shake up in her husband’s government, the lawmaker representing Kogi West, Senator Dino Melaye has stated that it would be too late if the President delays the reshuffle of government by three months.
In a post on his Twitter handle @dino_melaye, the lawmaker wrote; “The time for my beloved president Mohammodu Buhari to rejig his cabinet is Now. Doing it in the next three months will be too late.
“If you bring Ronaldo to play for Eyinmba against Barcelona. It will be disastrous 4 Eyinmba. So My president rejig when it is ripe to do so.”
Melaye had, while speaking on the floor of the Senate last month when the state of the economy was being debated, called for outright sack of the economic team as well as some Ministers, explaining some have failed the nation.
“Mr Senate President, we have to tell ourselves the truth at this time of the day, some Minister and Buhari’s economic team have failed and they should be sacked,” he had stated.
