Shehu Sani, Senator representing Kaduna Central has criticized President Muhammadu Buhari over use of red carpet at Dapchi Government school, Yobe.
President Buhari on Wednesday visited Dapchi school where 110 school girls were recently abducted by Boko Haram insurgents.
The President on arrival at Dapchi walked on a Red carpet to the hall where he had a meeting with elders and parents of the missing school girls.
Reacting, Shehu Sani condemned the use of Red carpet on a condolence visit by Buhari.
According to him, a red carpet is for award shows and not such visits.
The lawmaker on his twitter page wrote “A Red carpet should be for the Oscars or Grammy or Caines but not for Dapchi.”
