Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane, has said that their 5-2 win over Real Sociedad on Saturday, shows they are ready for their Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain in mid-week.
Madrid were in front inside 50 seconds, when Lucas Vazquez headed in Cristiano Ronaldo’s deep cross. Ronaldo scored twice and Toni Kroos curled an effort into the top corner, as the champions took a 4-0 lead into the break.
Sociedad scored twice, but Ronaldo completed his hat-trick in the second half.
“Everything positive was what we wanted from the start.
“It makes things easy when you score in the first minute. It was the full first half in this way, intense, determined, motivated. We can be satisfied with this, the three points, it was a good way to prepare for Wednesday’s game,” Zidane said.
