Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos has spoken on his side’s 4-2 victory over Girona in the Copa del Rey quarter-final first leg tie on Thursday.
Goals from Lucas Vazquez (1), Ramos (2) and Karim Benzema (1) gave Real Madrid all three points against the Girona.
However, goals from Alexander Lozano (1) and Alex Granell (1) were not enough to hand Girona a point against Santiago Solari’s side.
“Taking a penalty in this manner is a way of expressing my individuality and the good moment I’m living through,” Ramos was quoted by Marca as saying at post-match.
“I’m in a very comfortable personal moment right now.
“These penalties keep coming, but I can’t get used to taking them in this way, I’ll have to put it to one side.”
