Carlo Ancelotti will reportedly take charge of Real Madrid for the last time on Saturday, when they play Getafe in La Liga.
The Spanish giants are ready to axe the Italian, as Madrid finish the season trophyless. They were dumped out the Champions League at the semi-final stage by Juventus and have lost the league title to Barcelona.
During his time at the club, Ancelotti won the La Decima and the Club World Cup.
Rafa Benitez, whose deal at Napol expires this summer, is the hot favourite to replace the 55-year-old at the Santiago Bernabeu. His agent, Manuel Garcia-Quilon told Spanish TV channel Cuatro that his client “will surely be interested in coaching Madrid”.
Ancelotti has been linked with Manchester City and a return to AC Milan.
