Real Madrid planning £21million bid for Koscielny

Real Madrid are set to launch a £21million bid for Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny.

The Spanish giants are eyeing the France international, after negotations over a new deal for Sergio Ramos reportedly broke down.

Manchester United are interested in getting Ramos, whose current deal will run out in two years.

Arsene Wenger will, however, refuse any offer from Madrid, as Koscielny has grown to become one of the key members in his defence and signed a new long-term deal only last year.

Koscielny moved to the Emirates in 2010 from Lorient for a fee around £8million.
