Real Madrid will be without captain Sergio Ramos, Casemiro and Dani Carvajal, when they host Sevilla in a La Liga game on Saturday, after appeals against their suspensions were rejected by disciplinary authorities on Tuesday.
The verdicts came at a meeting of the Royal Spanish Football Federation’s appeals committee, which was brought forward 24 hours as Wednesday is a public holiday in Spain.
All three players picked up cards during Saturday’s 0-0 draw at Athletic Bilbao.
Ramos extended his club record to 24 red cards, also setting a new La Liga mark of 19 sendings off, while Casemiro was shown his fifth yellow card of the current campaign.
Carvajal triggered his automatic one-match ban for accumulation, when he was booked for a tackle on Inigo Cordoba.
