As Gareth Bale continues to be linked with a sensational move for Gareth Bale, Real Madrid are now believed to be ready to demand goalkeeper David De Gea in part-exchange.
The Red Devils have put aside about £100million for Bale, who they lost to Madrid in the summer of 2013. But the La Liga giants want De Gea to be included in the deal.
Madrid see the 24-year-old stopper, as the ideal candidate to replace Iker Casillas at the Santiago Bernabeu. De Gea has also been tipped to replace Casillas as Spain’s number one.
United are reluctant about letting arguably the best goalkeeper in the Premier League, but have been battling to get him to sign a new deal for weeks.
