Real Madrid insist they will not give up on Bale

Real Madrid assistant manager Zinedine Zidane, has made it clear that the club will not stop at anything to sign Gareth Bale from Tottenham Hotspurs.

Several reports claim that the Welsh winger is keen to quit White Hart Lane and his agent has alrady agreed terms with the La Liga side. However, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy, is playing hardball and does not want his star player to leave.

Zidane is however hopeful a deal can be struck soon for Bale, who is also a target for Manchester United.

“We’re not going to give up on Bale”, Zidane told Le 10 Sport. “It’s impossible to forget about a player of his quality.

“It’s only normal that Tottenham want him to sign a new contract but we’ve made it clear that he’s one of our main objectives.”
