The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has announced plans to construct a massive three kilometer long auditorium.
This disclosure was made by the General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, during the Holy Ghost Service at the Redemption Camp in Mowe, Ogun state.
The revered cleric added that the new auditorium would be built at the mission’s camp ground at km 46, Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
He noted that the existing auditorium, built in year 2000 with a capacity to sit one million people, could no longer accommodate millions of people who attended service.
The leader of the largest Pentecostal church in the world, while appealing for donations towards the project, said that the construction would be completed before the 62nd Convention in August 2014.
This year’s annual Holy Ghost Service, which is one of the programmes lined up for the 61st Annual Convention of the church has witnessed the birth of 72 babies between Monday and Friday. The convention ends on Sunday (today)
