Head coach of Enugu Rangers, Imama Amapakabo, has said his team are close to winning the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title, for the first time in 32 years.

The Flying Antelopes are currently top of the league, after they hammered title rivals 4-0 on Sunday.

Rangers have four fixtures left this season, starting with a clash against traditional rivals, Shooting Stars, this weekend.

“It was no doubt a massive win for us and we can now confidently say the title is within our reach,” Amapakabo told Completesportsnigeria.com.

“We now have four tough fixtures ahead of us before the end of the season and I’m sure we are equal to the task.

“This is the time for us to end the title drought as we have laboured so hard since the start of the campaign.

“I hope we will get our reward by winning the title at the end of the day.”
