The Queen of England will, on Monday at Buckingham Palace, present the inaugural Queen’s Young Leaders Awards to four Nigerian.
The four Nigerians recipients are: Isaiah Owolabi, Kelvin Ogholi, Nkechikwu Azinge and Oladipupo Ajiroba.
In a statement released by the QYL, the awards was in recognition of those young people who have been exceptional in their various fields and they where selected from Commonwealth nations.
Aside Nigeria with four recipient, countries like Canada, India, Cameroon and South Africa have three winners each.
According to the statement, the recipients are between the ages of 18 and 29, adding that the beneficiaries are to be awarded on the initiative of supporting others, raising awareness and inspiring change in areas like education, gender equality, mental health and disability equality.
