PSV crowned champions of Holland

PSV clinched their 22nd Eredivisie title on Saturday, after a 4-1 win over Heerenveen.

Luuk de Jong scored twice, while Memphis Depay and Luciano Narsingh added further goals, as they won the Dutch League with three games left.

On Sunday, Ajax who are in second place, will play NAC Breda. But it is impossible for them to catch PSV, who have stayed on top since the first week of this season.

It is the club’s first title since 2008 and they have ended Ajax’s four-year dominance in Holland. It is also the first for coach Phillip Cocu, who won four Eredivisie medals with PSV as a player.
