PSV Eindhoven have confirmed that Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and another undisclosed club, are in the race to sign Memphis Depay from the club.
The Dutch winger helped PSV to the Eredivisie title this year and is tipped to move on this summer.
Depay almost left Holland last summer after an impressive showing at the 2014 World Cup, but PSV turned down Tottenham Hotspurs’ £15million bid.
“That was last summer. Now Depay is worth more than that,” PSV technical director Marcel Brands said.
“It’s true there has been contact with Manchester United and Paris St. Germain and a third, big European club. But this time we are talking about bigger amounts of money.
“In this situation we cannot carry on with a club. It’s not the most important thing who we talk to, the player has to choose which club he will pick.
“He will make his mind up soon and we know that we are able to agree a fee with that club,” Brands affirmed.
Depay is expected to cost in the region of £25m.
