Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos have reportedly held a secret meeting with manager Zinedine Zidane, ahead of their Champions League round of 16 clash against Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.
Spanish outlet, Diario Gol, claims the starting line-up against PSG was top on the agenda.
Ronaldo and Ramos told Zidane not to start Marco Asensio ahead of Isco, with Luka Modric and Toni Kroos possibly ruled out over injuries.
Everyone was however in agreement about the defence of Dani Carvajal, Raphael Varane, Ramos and Marcelo.
Ronaldo is expected to lead the attack with Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale.
Zidane is said to be considering changing to a more rigid 4-4-2 formation, with Bale playing on the left side of midfield.
The LaLiga giants carry a 3-1 lead into the match.
