Paris Saint-Germain president, Nasser al-Khelaifi, has revealed that Ligue 1 champions will name a stand after Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The 34-year-old striker, announced last week that he was leaving the French club at the end of this season.
Ibrahimovic scored twice in his final home match for PSG, as they defeated Nantes 4-0. His brace ensured he broke Carlos Bianchi’s club record of 37 league goals in a season.
Al-Khelaifi said that PSG would be “proud” to honour the Swede.
“We tried to do everything for him because he deserves everything,” he told Swedish TV station, SVT.
“Honestly one thing I forgot in my speech is that we’re going to call one of the tribunes [stands] under his name…I hope that we did enough for him because he deserves always more.”
