PSG president insists he is “confident” of signing Neymar from Barcelona

Paris Saint-Germain are “very confident” of signing Barcelona star Neymar, according to the club’s president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

The Ligue 1 giants are hoping to complete a world-record £197m move for Neymar.

And Al-Khelaifi has revealed talks are progressing well with the transfer close to getting finalized.

“Negotiations for Neymar are going well. I’m very confident,” Al-Khelaifi told other bosses at the club, according to Yahoo Sport France.

Reports in Qatar suggest Neymar will undergo his medical in the country’s capital of Doha.

Meanwhile, La Liga boss Javier Tebas, has vowed to report PSG to UEFA for their pursuit of Neymar.
