Paris Saint-Germain manager, Thomas Tuchel, has laughed off claims from Real Madrid president, Florentino Perezm, that Neymar and Kylian Mbappe are among their summer targets.
Perez has promised Zinedine Zidane a huge summer transfer budget in order to revamp the La Liga giants’ ageing squad.
Speaking at Zidane’s unveiling on Monday, Perez couldn’t hide his desire to land the PSG pair.
He said: “Zidane is French, so with Mbappe he could do something, no? Now what we need to do is finish the season well and prepare for next year.”
When asked whether he’d prefer to sign Neymar or Mbappe, Perez replied: “I’d take them both”.
However, Tuchel laughed off Perez’s suggestion that he would sign both players and expects them to remain at the Parc des Princes next season.
“It’s normal, everyone wants to play with Neymar, Kylian, Marquinhos and [Marco] Verratti.
“These are players of the highest level they are our players, and that’s the most important thing,” Tuchel told L’Equipe.
