PSG deny €150m bid for Ronaldo

Paris Saint-Germain have denied that they are prepared to smash the world record, to land Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.

According to the Sunday Times, the French champions have set aside €150million to sign the Portuguese star and offer him a of £285,000 per week after tax.

However, sources at PSG have told Spanish sports daily, AS, that such rumours are unfounded.

“It is totally false,” a senior figure told the Madrid-based newspaper.

Most observers are adamant that Ronaldo will quit the Santiago Bernabeu after this campaign, with a return to Manchester United mooted.
