Paris Saint-Germain have won their third title in a row, after defeating Montpellier 2-1 on Saturday.
Blaise Matuidi and Ezequiel Lavezzi scored for Laurent Blanc’s side, before Anthony Mournier pulled one back for the home side. The victory sees PSG establish an unassailable eight-point gap between themselves and Lyon, who drew 1-1 with Bordeaux.
The Parisians now have 80 points and are on course to clinch an unprecedented domestic treble, after Barcelona dumped them out of the Champions League last month.
They have already won the League Cup after beating Bastia and will play second division outfit Auxerre in the French Cup final on May 30.
