A group, ‘I stand with Buhari’ has launched a counter protest against the planned nationwide protest by popular Nigerian music star, Tuface Idibia.
The group, on a Facebook post caused controversy on Wednesday as it shared the post which reads : “#iStandWithBuhari Nationwide Solidarity Rally 5th & 6th February, 2017.
Their countermarch is to take place on the same day Tuface has fixed his protest march against the government.
Recall that the music legend had announced that on February 5, he would be leading a protest in ‘a call for good governance.
Despite controversies generated by the much publicized planned protest, the ‘African Queen’ crooner has vowed to go ahead with his planned protest.
Meanwhile, the Lagos State Police Commissioner Fatai Owoseni has vowed to truncate the planned protest.
