One of Nigeria’s most talented and celebrated writer and author of the timeless novel, Things Fall Apart, Professor Chinua Achebe is dead.
The 82-year-old, who also recently released a new book titled ‘There Was a Country’, passed on last night in a a hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
It can be recalled that the Professor Achebe, who was the David and Mariana Fisher Professor of Literature at Brown University, has been ill for a some time.
